Ingredients
- 1.3333333730698 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 cup fat-free milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
0 of 5 ingredients ready
Instructions
- 1
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until they're evenly combined.
- 2
Pour in the fat-free milk and olive oil. Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until a soft, shaggy dough comes together. It will be slightly sticky, which is perfect.
- 3
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured counter. Knead it gently about 10 times, just until it smooths out. Shape it into a ball, place it back in the bowl, and cover it with a clean kitchen towel or an inverted bowl. Let it rest for 10 minutes while you get everything else ready.
10 min - 4
While the dough rests, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). If you have a pizza stone, put it in to heat up as well.
- 5
After resting, place the dough ball on a piece of parchment paper or a lightly floured baking sheet. Use your hands or a rolling pin to press and stretch it into a 12-inch circle. Don't worry if it's not perfect!
- 6
Carefully slide the parchment paper with the crust onto your preheated baking sheet or pizza stone. Bake the plain crust for 8 minutes until it's set and just starting to puff.
8 min - 7
Remove the crust from the oven. Now add your favorite sauce, cheese, and toppings. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
15 min - 8
Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes before slicing. Enjoy your homemade, fast pizza!
